HOW IT WORKS

What You Get With Membership

Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers more time with your clinician, easier access, and transparent pricing. No insurance billing for your primary care visits, but instead a reasonable monthly membership fee.

Why choose Mountain Internal Medicine DPC?

Same-day or next-day

appointment, when available

Longer visits that aren't rushed

Direct messaging with your clinician

After-hours access for urgent concerns

In-office testing and procedures

One predictable monthly fee

DPC VS INSURANCE

What DPC Does and Doesn't Cover

Your membership includes unlimited primary care.
That means routine visits, preventive care, chronic disease management, urgent care, direct access to your care team, discount labs, xrays, MRIs, and more.

Many common tests can also be completed during your appointment and included in the membership at no additional costs such as:

  • A1C testing

  • EKGs

  • Blood glucose testing

  • Rapid strep testing

  • Flu testing

  • RSV testing

  • Covid

  • BV/trichomoniasis

  • UA

  • Urine microalbumin

  • INR

For a small co-pay upfront, other office procedures are available that include:

  • IUD placement

  • Nexplanon placement

  • Toenail care, including nail avulsion (for ingrown toenails)

  • Cryotherapy

  • Incision and drainage

  • Skin biopsies

  • Steroid injections

You'll still want health insurance for services such as:

  • Hospitalizations

  • Emergency care

  • Specialist visits

  • Imaging

  • Most laboratory testing

  • Prescription medications
